By registering as a tutor with Tuition2u or accepting a tuition assignment, you acknowledge and accept the following terms and conditions related to the provided tuition matching service. Formal engagement occurs upon the dispatch of a Confirmation Note via WhatsApp/SMS/Email or after conducting the initial tuition lesson as arranged with the client.
Tutors registering with Tuition2u must be at least 16 years old and possess a GCE “O” Levels certificate or an equivalent academic qualification.
Tutors are obligated to provide accurate information regarding academic certifications and personal details. Clients retain the right to request verification of these certifications at any given time. Tutors found attempting to deceive clients with counterfeit qualifications will be reported to the authorities.
Tutors are expected to maintain professional and ethical conduct. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in the immediate termination of ongoing and future assignments. General guidelines for tuition lessons include:
Unless otherwise specified, tutors are required to commit to an assignment for a minimum of 3 months.
In cases where commitment cannot be fulfilled due to special circumstances, tutors are obliged to inform Tuition2u to prevent any misunderstandings and avoid blacklisting for future assignments.
After the first conducted lesson, tutors are expected to coordinate directly with the client for subsequent lessons, clarifying any personal, payment, or cancellation terms after the initial session.
Upon successful confirmation of each tuition assignment, a confirmation note and invoice will be issued.
Clients are required to make the payment for the first two weeks’ fees to Tuition2u upon completing the initial two weeks of lessons.
Subsequent payments may be made directly to the tutor.
In cases where the client is unwilling or unable to transfer the 50% commission to Tuition2u, the tutor will be entrusted to collect and promptly transfer the commission to Tuition2u.
